Professor and Director
Dr. Subhash Datta, Director of NIILM CMS at Greater Noida, has an M.Sc in Mathematics
and a Ph.D in Management. Dr. Datta is a life member of the Operational Research
Society of India and an International Fellow of Operational Research (FOR). He has
a number of books to his credit and has published more than 55 articles in refereed
national and international journals. In 1990, he received the "Sir Charles Goodeve
Gold Medal" for the most outstanding paper (Strategy for Development of Backward
Areas) in the Journal of the Operational Research Society , U.K. He is the first
recipient of the coveted award from a developing country. Before joining NIILM CMS,
he was with NIBM (Bombay), BITS (Pilani), CASAD (Pune), NSDART (LBSNAA, Mussoorie),
IMI (New Delhi), MDI (Gurgaon) and Founder Director at JIM Jaipur. He was a research
guide for the M.Sc (OR) program of the University of Sussex, University of Strathclyde
and University of Southampton, UK. He has conducted a number of long term sponsored
research and consulting projects for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of HRD, The
Ford Foundation, NABARD, United Commercial Bank, Bank of Baroda, UNDP, WHO, CSIR,
MMTC, Hero Honda, Kamsax, RIICO and IDBI. He has developed a number of DSS models
on resource management for decentralized planning for district administration. He
was the Program Director at MDI for the Advanced Management Program in 2005 and
also for the Faculty Development in International Business program of CIBER (University
of Connecticut) during 2004, 2005 and 2006. He was a plenary speaker on Sustainable
Development at the ICORD, held at Brazil in August 2007. He was an Organizing Committee
Member and the Chair for IFORS Prize for OR in Development at IFORS 2011 which was
held at Melbourne Australia during 10-15 July 2011. He is inivited to Chair the
session on OR in Developing Countries at EURO 2012 at Vilnius, Lithuania, 8-11 July
2012. |
Arun Kumar, BE. MBA
Mr. Kumar has extensive hands-on experience of more than 16 years in BPR Practices,
Quality Systems & ISO certifications process. With degrees in Engineering and
Management, his core areas of academic and research interests include Productions
and Operations Management, Total Quality Management, Process Re-engineering &
Industrial Relations and Marketing. Having worked at Escorts Ltd., he also guides
the CEO Forum, a unique teaching-learning platform at the institution. He has published
four papers, one case study and four projects. His recent publication is on “Marketing
Management-Best practices and Corporate insights “ which is widely used by all the
B-schools in the country.

Prashant Verma, M.Sc, PGDCS
He holds a Masters' degree in Statistics and a PG Diploma in Computer Software.
His area of specialization is Quantitative Techniques in Business Management. He
has been associated with AIIMS, IILM and Sharda Group of Institutions before joining
NIILM. He is a member of Indian Society for Technical Education and Help Age India.
He has attended several faculty development programs and seminars. He has about
eight years of experience.
