Overview
We have pleasure in inviting you for attending a seminar on “Research in Management Studies-A pathway for knowledge creation” at India International Centre, 40 Max Muller Marg, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The program will be of two days duration on 10th and 11th of February, 2012. This seminar is a good opportunity for scholars, industry professionals and faculty members to experience the processing of a research work for publication in national and international journals of repute. Participants can interact with editors of renowned journals and senior researchers in their domain. In this dynamic world of business and economy, there is always a scope for expanding the knowledge and resource base for today's upcoming managers & practitioners. The study of research methods provides the researcher with the knowledge and skills needed to solve the problems and meet the challenges of a fast paced decision making environment. The use of appropriate research methodologies helps academia to reach valid conclusions of their research work which is capable of helping the business world. Researchers, Faculty members and Students in this new century whether conducting research or reading research need to know about both processes and approaches to inquiry and to have an in-depth understanding of the research designs and procedures used in various studies today. We at the NIILM Centre for Management Studies feel that Research Methodology has come to occupy an important place in conducting business and organizational research scientifically. Keeping this in view, this two day Seminar has been designed by NARF (NIILM Academic and Research Forum) for Management teachers, Researchers, Practitioners and Professionals. The program plans to create the platform to bring together the decision makers in industry, renowned researchers in respective domain and editors of the journals. The program is designed to focus on researchers, who would like to disseminate the knowledge created through publication. The program would provide interaction with panel of editors and renowned researchers to look at their work and mentor for making the research inquiry publishable in renowned journals. The program also plans interaction with top positioned decision makers to share, based on short term and long term needs, the direction of knowledge creation which would prove valuable help for decision making.
